Visakhapatnam District Court
Vishakhapatnam (also Vishākhapatnam and Vizag or Vizagapatnam) is a port city in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located on the eastern coast of India, facing the Bay of Bengal. The city is about 650 km northeast of Hyderabad and is the place of origin of the Visakhapatnam district court. This court is fully responsible for all legal offices in the city of Vishakhapatnam since its establishment in 1931.

Visakhapatnam is a beach city, also could be named “The City of Destiny”, located in the state of Andhra Pradesh, on the east coast of India, nestled between the hills of the Ghats. It is the administrative headquarters of the Visakhapatnam District and is also home to the Eastern Naval Command of the Indian Navy. One of the largest city in this state, made of an area of 550 km. It is mainly an industrial city, besides being a port city.
The District Court, Visakhapatnam was established in 1931. The district has 62 courts, that is, 20 district courts, 18 superior courts of civil judges and 23 civil courts of judges.
