About DSA Telangana

DSA Telangana stands for “Department of State Audit” is the inspection department for the Telangana Finance Department on the financial transactions of Local Institutions and Bodies. It inspects on various categories including the issue of inspection reports, misappropriations, local bodies, issues of certificates of sub charge on clear cases of losses etc in Telangana State. The Audit Report is a Judgment. And the audit process of the accounts is the investigation of financial transactions which are committed by the local bodies and local institutions.

Telangana DSA Functions

The following are the functions of Telangana DSA:

  • The departments Consist of auditorial functions and some consists of Non-auditorial functions
  • In order to issue gratuity payment and pension payment orders and to authorize the benefits of pension to the government employees including Police Constables, class – 06 employees, Head Constables, Forest Guards and Excise Constables etc
  • In order to authorize the rewards to the village servants and village officers
  • Under the schemes of AP State Employees Group Insurance and Family Benefit Fund the department will authorize the claims to the local bodies government employees
  • In the revised UGC Sales of 1986, the pay fixation statements will pre-check and arrears amount will check. Due to Private Aided Degree Colleges non-teaching staff under the scheme of Career Advancement
  • In order to issue the certificates after endorsing them in respect of the grants released by the government of State. And central and its agencies to the local bodies.
  • Under the State Audit Act 1989, the consolidated state audit and review report should place in the legislature of the state
  • In order to issue gratuity payment and pension payment orders and to authorize the benefits of pension to the employees including Municipality employees, Universities, Panchayat Raj Bodies Non-Teaching Staff and Certain Temples
  • In order to issue gratuity payment and pension payment orders and to authorize the benefits of pension to the employees. Including teaching staff (Except B.ED Assistants) in few Telangana Districts
  • In order to provide financial assistance to the deceased widow teachers whose husband are died while in service who died prior to the year 31st March of 1974
