E-Governance in Karnataka – ಇ-ಆಡಳಿತ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ
The State Government of Karnataka deserves credit to be the pioneering state to leverage ICT (Information and Communication Technology) for more efficient governance in the State of India. The e-Governance or electronic-Governance works under the National E-governance Division and follow the guidelines of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEIT) strategies in the state to fulfill this aim. Some of the most e-Governance projects were digitalization of land records and computerization of treasury operations or Khajane. Get more information about the KARHFW from here.
These projects came into existence even before the Union Government of India (ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರ) announced the introduction of NeGP or National e-Governance Plan in 2016, in May.
