Enrolment in the State Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa
Now it is possible for candidates to apply online for the enrolment in the Maharashtra and Goa Bar Council website. The website is http://www.barcouncilmahgoa.org. Candidates need to submit the online application for issuance of the certificate of practice. This certificate of the Bar Council of India is mandatory for all the graduates who want to practice law in any state within India.
For offline enrolment, a candidate can submit the form with all the relevant documents at the Enrolment Department of the Bar Council’s office. The records that one needs to provide with the form include Birth Certificate’s attested copy, the attested copy of the final year mark-sheet, a Demand Draft, etc. The photograph of the applicant should be of stamp size and taken in proper uniform, that is, black pant, white shirt, a tie, and a coat.
